The Department of Philosophy is proud to announce the remarkable achievements of two of the students, Miss S. Semala and Miss K. Pathmika, philosophy undergraduates who participated in the enlightening workshop titled ‘Gandhian Concept in Practice.’ This dynamic event, held on July 29th, 2023, at the Green Grass Hotel in Jaffna, was organized by the Mahatma Gandhi Ashramam in honour of the Late Mrs. Saraswathy Thambipillai.
The dedication and enthusiasm of Miss S. Semala and Miss K. Pathmika shone brightly during the workshop, resulting in their recognition and selection for scholarships. These scholarships will provide essential financial support as they continue their journey toward completing their degree program. Their achievement not only reflects their personal commitment but also highlights the excellence fostered within our Philosophy department.
